The New Covenant
IN THE WORD BIBLE STUDY
We have learned that the "key" word of the BOOK OF HEBREWS is BETTER!
The first covenant was was sealed with the blood of animals. Christ covenant was sealed with his own blood (Heb. 10:29). This new covenant is a BETTER covenant, built on BETTER covenant, with BETTER promises, and based on the unchangeable God's word (6:18).
BETTER is the buzz word for the book of Hebrews, and we are GLAD!
1. BETTER hope (7:19)
2. BETTER covenant (8:6 KJV) some versions says "superior"
3. BETTER promises (8:6)
4. BETTER possessions in heaven (10:34)
5. BETTER country: heaven, not Canaan land (11:16)
6. BETTER resurrection: no more dying again (11:35)
7. BLOOD that speaks a BETTER word than that of Abel (12:24)
Join me tonight, 7:30, EST call 518-530-1840, Code 367405204.

Gifts and Offerings..The Epistle to the HEBREWS
GIFTS AND SACRIFICES (A study from the Hebrews)
In addition to the sacrifices on the Day of Atonement, God designated five different kinds of "gifts and sacrifices" (also called offerings") that the people could bring to the priests:
1. A burnt offering was a voluntary offering by someone who wanted to demonstrate commitment to God (Leviticus1; 6: 8-13)
2. A grain offering was a voluntary offering that accompanied other sacrifices (Leviticus2; 6: 14-23)
3. A fellowship offering was a voluntary demonstrating a person's faithfulness for fellowship with God (Lev. 3; 7:11-21.
4. A sin offering was a mandatory offering that paid for unintentional sins or helped cleanse an unclean person (Lev. 4: 1-5:13; 6:24-30; 12: 6-8; 14: 12-14).
5. A guilt offering was made to atone for unintentional sins against another person. (Lev. 5:14-6: 7; 7: 1-10; 14: 12-18).
